Your manuscript undergoes double-anonymous peer review by qualified experts.

Decision
The editor communicates an accept, revise, or reject decision with reviewer comments.

Publication
Accepted articles are published online immediately with a DOI assigned.
Manuscript Requirements
- Manuscript file in DOCX, RTF, or PDF format
- Figures and tables as separate high-resolution files
- A title page with all authors, affiliations, and ORCID iDs
- An abstract of up to 300 words and 5–8 keywords
- A cover letter explaining the significance of the work
- A conflict of interest declaration for all authors
- Funding information and ethics approval statements where applicable
- A data availability statement
